College of Medical Technology

The College of Medical Technology offers the Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology which encompasses liberal arts, humanities, and science education to arm students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to pass the national licensure examination and to be competent professional members of the health care team. Students learn to develop and perform with diligence and efficiency a wide range of laboratory tests using complex electronic equipment, computers, and precision instruments to ensure the accurate detection, diagnosis, and treatment of many diseases.

General Objectives :
To develop career men and women who shall help supplement the clinical diagnosis and management of human diseases.
To develop career men and women who shall be a part of the scientifically literate Filipino citizenry who shall be serving their countrymen and mankind without prejudice.

Specific Objectives :
balancing the basic professional courses using both formal and non-formal instruction
providing the students the knowledge and skills needed by a Medical Technologists to be able to work in various areas namely, clinical laboratory, research, administration and the academe.
To inculcate the correct attitude towards work.
To enhance the employability of graduates by regularly reviewing and upgrading the curriculum and facilities to make it relevant.
To provide enrichment learning to students to produce highly competent graduates who shall be experts in the technical aspects of laboratory medicine.
