College of Pharmacy

The College of Pharmacy provides teaching, extension services and research to produce highly qualified graduates who are experts in the technical aspects in the areas of Clinical Pharmacy, Chemical Food and Drugs Assay, Testing and Instrumentations, Drug manufacturing and Quality Control, Prescription, Compounding, Dispensing and Incompatibilities, and Hospital Pharmacy.

Specific Objectives


To promote a well-rounded general education background and specialized training in the various field of Pharmacy for the improved health and welfare of the people;
To stress the fundamental scientific principles as they apply to therapeutic agents and provide opportunities for clinical exposure and involvement related to drug therapy;
To familiarize students with business principles and legal requirement which apply to the practice of Pharmacy;
To inculcate in the student the team approach system of health care delivery with other allied health professions, thus contribution to the social and national development of the country;
To advocate for professional and ethical pharmacy practice;
To provide pharmaceutical care as well as counseling clients in the proper use of both prescribed and patient chosen medications;
